Transfer LP and Cassette to CD or MP3

Transfer Cassette to CD | Transfer LP to CD | 78 rpm records to CD | Convert to MP3

Many of us have LP or 78rpm records and cassetteĀ tapes that can’t be listened to because technology has made these formats redundant, and you just don’t haveĀ the equipment necessary to play those much loved recordings anymore.

But now, technology has made it possible to transfer those fond memories from your old LP vinyl records, 78 ‘s and cassette tapes, convert them to digital and transfer them to CD, preserving them, for you, your family, and friends.

Now it’s not just the standard pre-recorded cassettes and records we transfer. We have transferred privately recorded 78rpm and 33rpm records of choirs, weddings, and all sorts of music, cassette tapes with recordings of babies and kids as they grow up, mums and dads and grand parents chatting together at family gatherings and even answer-phone message tapes.

We get feedback from our customers all the time who are delighted with our service and transfer quality, but most of all they say being able to hear all those old recordings again is priceless.

Not only will your precious music and audio be transferred onto CD or converted to MP3, but we include audio restoration and noise reduction as part of the service removing those annoying LP pops and crackles, and hiss from your cassette tapes.

Do you have an MP3 player or Ipod? Would you like your music and audio converted? We will do that for you too.

Once your Vinyl LP’s 78′s and Cassettes have been transferred, your new CD will be printed with titles and a professional looking track listing inlay card inserted into the jewel case.

Below are some music samples of ‘before audio restoration’ and ‘after’ in MP3 format. Just click on the arrow in the players to listen to the audio.
coneBW This is a one minute sample of a Charlie Kunz 78 rpm record bought from a market for 50 pence. It was split from the outside edge to the centre, and has some very loud ‘pops’ half way through.

cone This is the same clip after restoration. Not only is it a much cleaner sound but the clip is also louder, yet they were both normalized to the same level. This is due to the restoration process.

coneBW My thanks to Ron Burnett (Trombone) for this clip. It’s from a recording he made in Leeds in 1959 of his band called The Unity Jazz Band and taken from an his original vinyl. It’s a 40 second burst of Jazz called ‘Shine’ and it’s pretty noisy.

The following clip demonstrates how unwanted noises can be removed from Live Recordings
coneBW This clip is a ‘Live’ recording of a classical guitar which has a noise of someone accidently hitting a tambourine (at about 7 seconds in). Click here to ‘see’ the noise on a spectrogram.
